Dr. Vaughan Dabbs

Vaughan Dabbs, DC, DABCO, is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic Physician and Orthopedist at Dabbs Rehab Center of MD in Columbia, Maryland. Dr. Dabbs specializes in functional and holistic medicine at the Chiropractic and Rehabilitative Care Center.

In 1987 Dr. Dabbs earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University, formerly Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

His postgraduate education includes a Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics and courses in sports medicine, nutrition, and various spinal and extremity chiropractic adjusting techniques.

Dr. Dabbs is the only Chiropractor in the state of Maryland to have a specialty degree of Diplomat of Chiropractic Orthopedics. He also has treated the NFL sports team, the Baltimore Ravens, at special events and has been in practice for 39 years. He runs one of Maryland’s most successful, popular chiropractic and physical therapy and medical offices.

He specializes in diversified and flexion-distraction techniques, muscle and joint rehabilitation, and treating low back, whiplash, and sports injuries.

Dr. Dabbs has been published in two of the foremost orthopedic journals in the country. His most recent article compared the effects of anti- steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to chiropractic treatment for back pain.

Dr. Dabbs is the author of “This Is Why Your Back Hurts,” which has a 5 out of 5-star rating on Amazon and other bookstores. He’s also the inventor of Dabbs Back Care System — an instructional and rehab DVD and book system formulated to help the back heal in six weeks or less.
