Dr. Hugo Torres

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Dr. Torres moved to the U.S. with his family at age 17. While working as an IV technician, he saw firsthand how often pain was managed with medication rather than true healing. That experience inspired him to study chiropractic care, focusing on restoring health through the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Dr. Torres earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in South Carolina and has since worked in clinics across New Jersey, including East Brunswick and Franklin. He brings that experience to Newark’s Ironbound community, where he’s known for his gentle, patient-centered approach and effective, personalized care for people of all ages.
