Dr. Frank J. Mandarino
Dr. Frank Mandarino attended Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York. He completed an intense three year program in the sciences. He was president of the Pre-Chiropractic Society for two years. Upon graduation he was awarded the Ira D. Rothberg Scholarship for excellence in the Pre-Chiropractic program. Additionally, he was selected to the Dean’s list. From there he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. He graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. He was accepted to the President’s list and received Research Honors.
Since graduation Dr. Mandarino has completed three post graduate programs and received Diplomates from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, American Academy of Pain Management and the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. One of the highlights of Dr. Mandarino’s career was achieving the title from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. The honor bestowed requires extensive course study and involvement in the sports arena, and as of October 2021 there are 307 active certificants worldwide.
Dr. Mandarino is certified to read MRI’s; he has specific training in nutrition, acceleration/deceleration trauma and Auricular therapy. He is a past instructor for the Graston Technique, and is certified in Active Release Techniques, Fascial Manipulation, Functional Movement Systems and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. In addition he holds certifications in all Kinesio Taping Methods.
