Dr. Erik Coombs

Dr. Erik Coombs has a passion for educating the people around him on true health and wellness and how the body was designed to function. He grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and has always been drawn to healthcare as a career choice, influenced by his family’s healthcare background – his mother worked in the hospital and his grandfather taught natural health principles. Having grown up a chiropractic baby and been under chiropractic care his entire life, he knew the vast benefits of principled chiropractic.

It was in the middle of his undergraduate years pursuing Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities when he decided to look towards professional school as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Erik graduated with his undergraduate degree in 2011 and was drawn to the incredible reputation of Life University in Atlanta, Georgia as the largest and most advanced chiropractic school in the world, graduating in 2015.

It was during Dr. Erik’s four years of chiropractic education that he achieved Certified Advanced Proficiency in Torque Release Technique. It was this instrument-based, neurologically focused adjusting technique that finally rid Dr. Erik of his chronic headaches and allergies and which led him to learn more about neurologically based chiropractic care. Torque Release Technique has been proven through vast research to be the most specific, scientific chiropractic technique in the world today.

Dr. Erik has also received certification in extremity adjusting and has extensive experience working with extremities including hips, knees, feet, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and jaw. He has spent numerous post graduate hours honing his skills in pediatric and maternal care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is certified in the Webster technique, which is often utilized to restore optimal pelvic function during pregnancies.
