Dr. Eric Winiarz
Dr. Winiarz is a highly trained chiropractor with extensive post-graduate education and full-body certification in Active Release Technique (ART) and Graston Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation. He recognizes that soft-tissue dysfunction plays an integral role in pain syndromes—often creating altered biomechanics and faulty movement patterns that lead to chronic discomfort or injury.
An expert in functional rehabilitation and soft-tissue release methods, Dr. Winiarz is also TPI Certified through the Titleist Performance Institute, which has analyzed thousands of golfers—from tour professionals to weekend enthusiasts—to better understand how physical limitations impact swing mechanics and injury risk. Using the TPI screening system, he evaluates swing mechanics, biomechanics, movement quality, and physical fitness to identify and correct the root causes of inefficiency and pain.
Dr. Winiarz incorporates Neurodynamics, an advanced technique focused on restoring the normal mobility and tension balance of the nervous system. By assessing and mobilizing specific nerve pathways, neurodynamic treatment helps relieve tension, reduce pain, and improve functional movement patterns—particularly in cases involving nerve entrapment or radiating symptoms.
He also holds a Certificate of Completion in the McGill Method, developed by renowned spinal biomechanist Dr. Stuart McGill. This evidence-based approach integrates movement efficiency and targeted exercises to build spinal resilience. His advanced post-graduate training in spine biomechanics allows him to effectively help patients suffering from chronic low back pain—teaching them how to move with less pain, apply self-management strategies, and understand their own biomechanics to prevent future flare-ups.
A dedicated athlete himself, Dr. Winiarz regularly competes in triathlons and road races. His personal experience as an endurance athlete informs his approach to care—working with a wide range of patients, from Ironman competitors to weekend warriors. He is passionate about helping athletes of all levels achieve their performance goals, prevent injury, and maintain a strong, healthy quality of life.
Driven by curiosity and a commitment to continual growth, Dr. Winiarz is currently expanding his expertise into functional medicine—an integrative approach that seeks to identify and address the root causes of disease through a deeper understanding of how lifestyle, nutrition, and movement intersect. This evolving perspective allows him to treat patients through a truly comprehensive lens—one that considers the whole person, not just the symptom.
