Dr. Anthony Ellis
Dr. Anthony Ellis is an experienced chiropractor and dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background. He began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Albany in 1987. After spending nine years working in the wood industry, his career took a significant turn when he assisted his brother with healthcare following a car accident. This experience ignited his passion for chiropractic care, and he decided to pursue a new career path.
Dr. Ellis enrolled at New York Chiropractic College in 1996, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1999. In April 2004, he co-founded Performance Chiropractic alongside Dr. Janet Howie, where they have worked together to provide exceptional care to their patients for nearly two decades.
Certified in Active Release Techniques, Graston Technique, Nimmo Trigger Point Therapy, and as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Dr. Ellis brings a wealth of knowledge and a range of specialized skills to his practice. He has been a teacher of Active Release Techniques for the past 24 years and incorporates additional techniques like Post-Isometric Relaxation (PIR) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) to ensure the fastest and most effective resolution of pain, while also emphasizing strength-building and stretching.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Ellis enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, particularly hiking and hunting. He has been a certified instructor for the State of Nebraska for over 15 years, sharing his expertise in hunting education. Additionally, he enjoys coaching high school students in trap shooting and powerlifting.
Dr. Ellis is grateful for his family, including his wife, Carrie, and their three sons, Anthony, Joshua, and Isaac. He is deeply committed to his patients’ well-being and strives to provide a holistic approach to chiropractic care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and treatment.
