Dr. Rick Ames

Dr. Rick Ames is proud to call East Machias, ME, his hometown. He attended University of Maine in Orono and Parker College of Chiropractic, where he earned a degree of B.S. in Health and Wellness. Dr. Ames also earned a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Ames takes a holistic approach to your healing. Holism assumes that health is affected by everything in an individual’s environment. This can include everything from what we eat to where we live to what we drive or do for work. This is why Dr. Ames incorporates chiropractic care, supplements, exercise, massage and other modalities to help get the best results. Dr. Ames has offices in Bangor and Lincoln, conveniently located for you and your family no matter where you live in eastern Maine.
