Dr. Robert Pesale

Dr. Robert Pesale is the clinical director of Stratford Chiropractic Spine and Injury Center, which he founded in 1990. He has successfully helped tens of thousands of patients address painful symptoms arising from motor vehicle crashes, whiplash, physical trauma, neck pain, back pain, headaches, and work-related injuries. He is among a select group of practitioners who are certified in chiropractic biophysics (CBP®) and non-surgical spinal decompression. He uses only scientifically-proven strategies to help individuals across Connecticut achieve their health goals.

Dr. Pesale has developed Stratford Chiropractic Spine and Injury Center to be a primary care destination for patients seeking immediate treatment for their spine-related pain. All new patients undergo comprehensive consultations, evaluations, and diagnostic imaging to arrive at an accurate diagnosis. From there, Dr. Pesale will develop tailored treatment plans incorporating spinal manipulation, spinal decompression and physical therapy to successfully address their pain and suffering. If Dr. Pesale is unable to accept a patient’s case, he will leverage his vast national network of neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, surgeons, and pain management specailists to find a qualified professional who can.

Dr. Pesale’s deep knowledge of spinal biomechanical pathology and emerging treatment techniques help explain why he routinely receives patient referrals from attorneys and doctors across the tristate area. He graduated cum laude from the Palmer College of Chiropractic’s prestigious D.C. program in Davenport, Iowa after completing an accelerated three-year program at the New York Institute of Technology. He continues to educate himself on the latest treatment techniques through extensive post-graduate training. He currently holds more than 80 diplomas and certificates in specialties such as MRI spine interpretation, spinal biomechanical engineering, accident reconstruction, spinal trauma pathology, impairment ratings, head trauma and brain injuries, orthopedic testing, and neurodiagnosis. These certifications have been issued by institutions such as Texas Chiropractic College, Life University, New York Chiropractic College, and the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Dr. Pesale has also been certified in advanced disc disorders by the International Medical Advisory Board on Spinal Decompression (IMABSD).
