Dr. Greg Millar

Dr. Greg Millar, DC CCEP CPFM ASBCE is a Huntsville Alabama Doctor of Chiropractic. He is originally from Cullman, Alabama. By winning the Alabama State Science Fair, he was given a scholarship to Woodward Academy prep-school in Atlanta Ga. While there, he dual enrolled at Ga Tech and studied electrical engineering obtaining his FCC 1st Class Engineering License. (His family was in broadcasting in Florida). His love was always medicine. He then graduated summa cum laude honors from Barry University, Miami Florida with Bachelor’s of Applied Science (BASc) Human Physiology with a Minor in Integrative Medicine, a Minor in Kinesiology: Exercise Science, and a Minor in Biochemistry. He has been practicing Chiropractic since 1997 after graduating magna cum laude honors from Life University, College of Chiropractic with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While at Life University he was President of the Student Body and served as Student VP of the World Council of Chiropractic. In addition to his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he also holds the coveted CCEP – Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner designation from Board of Examiners, Council of Chiropractic Extremity Adjusting; and, he is certified in the treatment of extremities (hips, knees, ankles, feet – shoulders, elbows, wrist, hands).

Dr. Millar also holds the CPFM – (Certified Practitioner of Functional Medicine) designation from the College of Functional Medicine. He has completed additional course work in functional medicine from the Institute of Functional Medicine, Functional Medicine University and Harvard Medical School, Dept of Continuing Education. Dr. Millar is also Certified by National University of Health Sciences in Injectable Nutritional Medicine having completed the additional Alabama Board of Chiropractic approved postgraduate training and examination to preform (TPI) trigger point injections; (IV) intravenous therapy; (IM) intra-muscular injections; and (JI) joint injections. He is also Certified by National University of Health Sciences in administration and dispensing of nutrient supplements; amino acids; peptides; fatty acids; enzymes and antioxidants; botanicals and phytonutrients; food concentrates and extracts; vitamins and mineral; nutraceuticals; homeopathic remedies; compounds and compounded products. Dr. Millar does not prescribe or use prescription drugs in the treatment of patients.

Dr. Millar practiced for 13 years with the neurosurgeons of Univ of Alabama Birmingham, Dept of Neurosurgery. He completed additional training by the UAB Neurosurgeons in imaging, examination and treatment. Dr Millar then handled UAB Dept of Neurosurgery cases before and after surgery. He has treated thousands of herniated an bulging disc patients (both neck and low back) over the years with decompression traction, lasers and conservative care. While practicing with UAB he helped develop the UAB Department of Neurosurgery Chiropractic Care Team. in fact, the Neurosurgeons of UAB saw patients at his chiropractic clinic for many years.
